Jennifer R. Frey, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Dr. Frey is an accomplished researcher, clinician, and educator whose work is guided by an overarching goal to optimize health and learning outcomes for children with or most at risk for developmental differences. She has studied biological and environmental influences of early development and advocated for improved coordination across education and health sectors caring for young children and their parents.

Dr. Frey received her doctorate in education and human development from Vanderbilt University and is a board-certified behavior analyst and a former early intervention specialist and special education teacher. She has focused her research and clinical work on supporting parents and educators to create optimal learning environments and develop relationships known to enhance overall wellbeing and development. Dr. Frey joined ECS after most recently serving as an associate professor of special education and disability studies and director of the early childhood and autism graduate programs in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Frey, a Cincinnati native, is committed to community engagement and collaboration on both sides of the river to advance translational research, service delivery, and policy designed to improve child and family experiences and outcomes.

Margaret J. Clark, MPA

Ms. Clark oversees a regional collaborative with nine provider agencies, 100+ staff, and service to 2,000 families annually. She ensures efficient and effective implementation of three evidence-based home visitation models, seamless coordination within two state systems, and successful integration with evaluation and research components. Margaret has an MPA and 25+ years of leadership experience in health and human services focused on children.

Robert T. Ammerman, Ph.D.

Dr. Ammerman is a clinical psychologist with a 30-year career as a prevention scientist with a focus on issues related to early childhood. He has received grants from the National Institutes of Health, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, and National Institute on Disabilities and Rehabilitation Research to study child abuse and neglect, home visiting, and maternal mental health.

Alonzo (Ted) Folger, Ph.D.

Dr. Folger is an epidemiologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Folger works with the Every Child Succeeds home visiting program to oversee program evaluation efforts and conduct epidemiologic research related to maternal and child health outcomes.

Alicia Culman, CFRE

Alicia has spent her career strengthening our community by developing and managing resources for local non-profit organizations, including FreeStore FoodBank, Cincinnati Parks Foundation, The Carnegie, and Great Parks. Alicia’s dedication to celebrating the unique and exceptional assets of the Cincinnati region grew exponentially through her membership in Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change Class 7 and Leadership Action Class 4. In her spare time, she serves as a board member of the Cincinnati Observatory Center, reads, and travels. A native of Cincinnati, Alicia lives in Mt. Washington with her husband and two children.
